Parent Helpers
Remember, it's not just the events team that need your help!

There are various other opportunities to help within the school.
Some of these opportunities are for regular activities and some are one off or short term. There's a couple of examples on this page but as with everything, if you fancy helping out then get in touch.

Some of them will be directly assisting school staff so we will pass you on to them for some activities.

Golden Café
A trolley service of various foods taken to P1 and P3 on Friday afternoons. You can get more information by requesting to join the Facebook Group here and also download specific information here.

School Events
​There are many events, activities and assemblies in school that we support. At the very least, we provide drinks before and after and needs helpers for that. Occasionally we get more involved but just as the school requires.
Office Work
Printing, Copying, Laminating, Filing, Sorting – there’s always something to do to help out the school office staff or class teachers. It’s a great way to keep yourself busy while the children are at school and get involved in the behind the scenes life of school that keeps the cogs turning smoothly.
Sorting Displays
To ensure the teaching and support staff are focussed on our Childrens’ education, the school love getting some help from creative parents to make wall displays of the class work. It’s a great way to find out what the children are learning and keep those creative skills honed.

Class/Group Volunteering
Have you got a skill or talent that could be shared with the children? Why not offer to share this with a group either on your own or with others. Music, Sport, Cooking? There will be plenty of ways you can help out and widen the learning experience within the school.

School Trips
Class and School trips need extra adults to keep them within safety guidelines. So enjoy a fun day out with the school and help ensure our children have a great experience.

​School Garden
There are plans for a garden area coming soon, but in the meantime, there are plenty of areas in the school grounds that need regular attention. The school would also like helpers to do some weeding, planting of seeds, hanging baskets, or anything else deemed appropriate.
